On Thursday, February 29, 2024, in the premises of the Innovative Startup Center in Stara Pazova (Serbia), the second thematic workshop was held in the organization of the regional development agency Srem from Ruma, as part of the LOGICO project. During the joint work, the participants had the opportunity, first of all, to learn about the sources and possibilities of financing energy communities in the Republic of Serbia, which were presented by Bora Obradović, the project manager from RRAS. In the second part of the workshop, the local owner of the solar power plant explained in a practical way the financial effects and factors that affect the calculation of the delivered energy. The topics were of great interest to those present, which was followed by a very interesting discussion.
The workshop was attended by 31 participants, among whom were citizens, entrepreneurs, members of residential communities and high school students. The workshop represents a useful step towards strengthening the awareness and participation of citizens in realizing energy democracy in Serbia.
