On April 19, 2023, an Info Day was held at Ivanić-Grad Open University as part of the LOGYCO project.
During the Info day, visitors were introduced to the energy communities of citizens. In the introductory part, Nena Šilić from DOOR, explained the concept of energy communities and showed the advantages of participating in an energy community.
Examples of good practice from other countries and how energy is shared in the energy community of citizens are also presented. In the central part of the lecture, the companies Grid one and Informel presented their project My Energy Community – Platform for energy communities whose main goal is to provide a platform for energy communities where energy flows and related prices will be available to end users in real time.
At the end, the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Shipbuilding of the University of Zagreb presented the SunSharing project, which is focused on encouraging the establishment of energy communities based on photovoltaic power plants, and a crowdfunding initiative was presented as a project financing model.
The project LOGYCO – Setting the basis for the establishment of local energy communities is part of the European Climate Initiative (EUKI) of the German Federal Ministry for Economy and Climate (BMWK).
